1999 TSOS Membership Show

Every other year, the Texas Society of Sculptors (TSOS) holds a membership show, in which the member artist gets to choose one or two pieces that will be on display (vs. an outside juror making that decision). This gives the art lover a chance to see not only the favorite works of our artists, but allows you to view works that might not fall into a "themed" category that many juried shows seem to have. Now, not all of our members chose to exhibit for all of the shows, but the invitation was extended to all. The 1999 membership show featured 24 artists with over 40 sculptures.

The show was held at the new AVAA (Austin Visual Arts Association) gallery at 2008 Alexander Avenue, Suite 114, in Austin, Texas. The show was on display from June 5 through June 19, 1999.
