About Betty Gerald

She is a wood sculptor in Central Texas.  Gerald studied with: Prudence Leach, British sculptor in Houston; Texas; David Parsons, Rice University, Houston, Texas; Jules Struppeck, Newcomb College School of Art, Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana; Masaru Takiguchi, visiting instructor    in sculpture, University of Houston, Houston, Texas.

Betty gathered inspiration and techniques in Kenya, Thailand, Egypt, Israel, Japan and Mexico.  She lives on two acres (too much) with a Key Hole Garden and just acquired three Ollas (buried watering pots) – water saving techniques.
