About Dar Richardson
Dar Richardson ventured into figurative sculpture decades ago, creating caricature woodcarvings. He recently began sculpting in other media: cement, terra-cotta and raku clay and muti-media sculpture with glass and mosaic.
Dar enjoys using color and texture while drawing on imagination and visualization. His work is light-hearted and whimsical. If his creations put a smile on your face, it’s his best reward. His intent is to have fun and employ a sense of humor in his art and life.
