Artist's Statement

With my work I strive to realize ideas that arise from whimsey and contemplation.

Artist's Biography

My artwork began in my 30s with painting. A significant catalyst was "Sunday in the Park with George," the play about the life of artist Seurat. "Adam's Joy", my first work in sculpture, has inspired by a figure I first rendered on canvas.

I have a BS degree in electrical engineering . . . no formal art education. I was an exhibitor at Sculpfest 2004.
