Artist's StatementSince birth I have been involved in sculpture and bronze casting. From my earliest years I have dedicated myself to the creation of bronze sculpture for myself and others. As a foundryman I enjoy the challenge of working ideas into reality, and as a sculptor I enjoy utilizing my expertise as a foundryman to help birth my ideas. I am fortunate to do what I enjoy as a vocation, and as an avocation. I hope others enjoy it too! My intent is to create sculpture that will provide a taste of my experiences and my observed experiences to my collectors. |
Artist's BiographyHaving been born and raised in the art foundry business I have had full exposure to sculpture and bronze casting. Our family-owned Kasson Art Foundry has three generations of Kassons involved in the operation of the business. We have produced castings for our clients that are held in collections worldwide. Our most recent monumental project was the 35' tall Bronze Star located in front of the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, in Austin Texas. At the age of 26 I see my work through the eyes of a sculptor as well as through the eyes of a foundryman, which intensifies my vision for the work I create. |
