Artist's StatementI like the permanence of stone. There is no reason that a stone sculpture should not last forever. Bronze could be melted for its value or could be burned for warmth, bit stone should remain intact. I hope my art will make its own statement. |
Artist's BiographyI have always done art, starting as a young child. My mother recognized my interest and provided me with art instruction from a highly respected art instructor, but I was not respective. They would put a figure or still life in front of me and I would draw indians around a campfire. I operate my own bronze foundry, pouring mostly in petro-bord sand, but chopping marble is what I crave. |
ResuméGallery Location: On Highway 65 just 18 miles south of Harrison, Arkansas, is a place you won't soon forget. It is filled with wood carvings, folk art, and a wide variety of hand-carved marble. Additional information: 50 miles south of Branson, Missouri, and 50 miles south of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. |
