Triquetra

Perhaps the most interesting of geometric forms, this phenomena is often used as the symbol for Infinity. Actually it is correctly named Triquetra, and the symbol for infinity is quite different. The Triquetra has been used by varying religious groups. And is recognized as the opposite of the phallic symbol. It is a fun piece for sure, guaranteed to evoke conversation.
This sculpture can be replicated in alabaster stone. Price:$1,800.

Enigma of the Pendulum

The basic shape of circles and rectangles in fixed, age old inorganic Cantera river stone is brought to life by the mystery and movement of the pendulum. Live moss and natural patina on the stone further evoke a living spirit and aura of mystery. Extra pictures upon request.

Artist's Biography

John Webb was born May 27, 1940 in Gorman, Texas. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in Psychology. In 1968 he earned his Masters Degree in Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas. For the 2 1/2 years he and his wife, Bonnie lived in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Webb studied under reknown Sculptor, Professor Hania Lenero for 2 years in the workshop of sculpture “La Cantera” in the Island of the Cuale. Prior to moving to Mexico he worked as a self taught student using antique hand tools and techniques of pioneer woodsmen and sculptors.

Webb presently lives in Rusk, Texas. He enjoys both stone and wood as mediums.
