Sculpture by Gary Yarrington

Artist's Statement

Gary Yarrington studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia and received BFA and MFA degrees with a sculpture major from the Kansas City Art Institute.

He has a life-sized bronze figure at the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri, and is represented in the permanent collections of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library (second floor sculpture balcony), the Harry S Truman Library, and the Davenport (Iowa) Municipal Art Gallery.

His work is in private collections in Austin, Texas; New York City; Davenport, Iowa; Kansas City, Missouri; Denver, Colorado; Evansville, Indiana; Topeka, Kansas; and London, England.

Yarrington has shown with the Texas Society of Sculptors in Austin, and the National Sculpture Society in New York City. Currently he is showing a bronze at the Austin Headliner's Club.
