Artist's Biography

I was born in 1963 in Houston Texas and lived part of my life in Houston, Mexico, Chicago and presently in San Antonio Texas.

Religious sculpture is the family trade. It comes from my mother's side, started by my grandfather and passed on to his sons. My father in his youth painted bullfighters and when he married my mother he started working with religious sculpture mastering the technique in a short time.

I felt inclined to art from early childhood and it's been part of my life ever since. When the time came to get serious I selected architecture as my formal training… and how happy I was when I found out that architecture embraces in some way all of the arts.
